Gardaí charm for witnesses after Crumlin cash-in-transit robbery

Gardaí are exploring an armed cash in transportation break-in that took place last Thursday outside a blog post workplace on the Old County Road, Crumlin.

At about 12.15 pm on Thursday 3 June, a male armed with what seemed a firearm came close to a staff member transporting a cash money box and endangered him.

According to a Garda declaration released, the male shooter left the scene with the cash box and entered a Ford Focus vehicle, which ultimately drove at speed towards the Clonard Road.

“No injuries were reported throughout the course of this event. A car has given that been recouped by Gardaí as well as is currently being practically taken a look at. No apprehensions have been made right now. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this break-in and also for anybody with information to find ahead,” claimed a garda agent.
