A mural celebrating individuals with Down syndrome has been revealed in Dublin city centre.
A 60ft piece of art work by popular street musician Joe Caslin has been set up on a structure on the corner of Harcourt Road and Clonmel Road in Dublin’s City Centre. The image entitled, Do not Patronize Me, includes Amanda Butler discounting Syndrome Ireland’s 50th birthday celebration.
An unique report, The Upside– Life with Down syndrome has been launched as component of the project, where it describes ’21 Needs’ for this Federal government to produce real modification in achieving disability civil liberties in this country.
‘The Benefit’ project focuses on 4 essential facets of life for a person with Down disorder: health and wellness, education, employment as well as life in the neighborhood.
The record, ‘The Advantage– Life with Down syndrome‘, details the gaps between public mindsets as well as social goals in the direction of addition as well as the harsh truths of life for people with Down disorder and also their family members.
